The Benning Bass Club, the premier local bass fishing club in the Bass Federation, is located in Columbus, Georgia, and has 16 tournaments on it’s 2010 tournament schedule. These tournaments will be on local lakes in the Eastern Alabama and Western Georgia geographic area. Club membership is required for entry into all club-sponsored tournaments.
No, not the nations capital, but the Bass Capital of the World, Lake Eufaula! The Benning Bass Club fished their 6th stop on their 2010 schedule on Saturday, June 26th. Winning patterns consisted of frogs in grass or lily pads and key structure off ledges or drops. Larry Jones finished first with 17.44 pounds, George Schurr finished 2nd with 15.72 pounds, and Adam Linkenhoker rounded out the top three in third with 15.62 pounds. Twenty-eight anglers competed resulting in four 5-fish limits, 63 bass total caught, and five fish over five.more
